ezPERA is operated by E. M. Zalamea Actuarial Services, Inc. We are handling information connected to people's retirement savings, so we take privacy seriously. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who we are
E. M. Zalamea Actuarial Services, Inc. ("Zalamea", "we", "us") is a retirement and employee benefits firm based in Makati City, Philippines, and an SEC and BIR accredited PERA Administrator. ezPERA is our digital PERA platform. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act, Zalamea is the Personal Information Controller for the information collected through this website.
What this policy covers. This policy applies to the ezpera.ph website only. The ezPERA mobile application is not yet released. When it launches, account opening and investment features will collect more information than this website does, and that will be governed by a separate in-app privacy notice and consent process presented to you before you sign up.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill in the enquiry form on this site, we collect the name, email address, and message you choose to provide. If you email us or reply to one of our webinar invitations, we also receive whatever you include in that message, which often includes your company name, role, and contact number.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site we collect standard technical data through Google Analytics, including your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and how you arrived at the site. We use this to understand which pages are useful and which are not. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with the details you submit through a form.
What we do not collect on this website
This website does not ask for and does not collect government identification numbers, TIN, birth dates, bank or card details, income information, or any other sensitive personal information. Nothing on this site opens a PERA account. If a page or message ever asks you for those details in the name of ezPERA, treat it as suspicious and contact us directly at the details below.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run this website, and only to the extent they need it to do their job. As of the effective date above, these are:

Because these providers operate outside the Philippines, submitting a form or browsing this site involves a cross border transfer of your information. We remain accountable for that information under the Data Privacy Act, and we use providers that offer contractual protections consistent with it. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law or by a lawful request from the BSP, BIR, SEC, the National Privacy Commission, or a court.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work normally if you do.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and to maintain a reasonable business record, and in any case no longer than five years from our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or by our obligations as a PERA Administrator. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard retention schedule. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
How we protect it
Zalamea maintains organisational, physical, and technical safeguards to protect personal information, supported by ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security practices. This site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry records is limited to the staff who need it to respond to you.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to object to how we process it, to have it erased or blocked in certain circumstances, to data portability, to be indemnified for damage arising from inaccurate or unlawfully obtained information, and to lodge a complaint.
To exercise any of these, email us at pera@zalamea.ph. We will acknowledge your request and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may bring the matter to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
To stop receiving webinar invitations or updates, reply to any message from us with the word "unsubscribe" or email us at the address above. You do not need to give a reason.
Children
PERA accounts are for individuals of legal age with the capacity to contract. This website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make a change that materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly before it takes effect.
